How Do We Do It?

97-percent of investors have stated that the difficulty of measuring impact has been a key barrier to the growth of the impact investing industry. To break this barrier and build trust with investors, we have partnered with Blue Eyed Capital and EverTreen to create a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to track progress on our impact. Not all impact activities can be measured, but we do our best to measure what we can to ensure our efforts are efficient and effective.

We also track correlations between our impact-driven decisions and profitability, to redefine the stigma that impact investing may mean sacrificing returns, as we’ve often found the opposite is true. By being able to pinpoint how impact and profitability are positively correlated, we can build specific impact strategies that yield the most compelling results of targeted and measurable improvements to people’s lives as well as profits. Dynamic impact strategies can be implemented at significant scale only when supported by profitability.
